Terms of Service – CoHome

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CoHome app ("App"), operated by Rodrigo Andreata ("we"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use CoHome.

1. Service description

CoHome is a digital platform for shared organization among families and groups, including calendar, lists, documents, contacts, finances, health, board, routines, location (when enabled), and AI Assistant (when available).

Features, modules, and integrations may vary by plan, family configuration, and technical availability.

2. Eligibility and account

You must have legal capacity to enter into contracts or have guardian authorization where applicable. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Registration information must be accurate and up to date.

3. Family spaces and invitations

CoHome organizes content in family spaces. Family administrators may invite members, set permissions, and manage enabled modules. By joining a space, you acknowledge that certain content may be visible to other authorized members. You are responsible for inviting only people you intend to share family information with.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App unlawfully, abusively, fraudulently, or in violation of third-party rights;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to areas, accounts, or data;
  • Interfere with service operation, security, or integrity;
  • Send malicious content, spam, or material that infringes intellectual property;
  • Use the AI Assistant for unlawful purposes or to generate content that violates these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service or other users.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By using CoHome, you grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and sync that content solely to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submitted content and that it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

6. Premium subscription and payments

Certain features may require Premium subscription purchased through Google Play. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow store and plan rules. CoHome does not process payments directly. Free trial periods, when offered, have duration and terms shown in the App or store. Premium features for a family may depend on the responsible creator or administrator subscription, per product rules.

7. Third-party integrations

The App may offer optional integrations such as Google Calendar, maps, Google sign-in, and .ics import. By enabling an integration, you authorize CoHome to access data necessary to provide the feature, as described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party services have their own terms and policies.

8. AI Assistant

The AI Assistant is an optional feature that interprets natural language requests and may suggest actions or content. AI responses may be inaccurate. Review important information before making decisions. Actions that change data may require explicit confirmation in the App.

9. Intellectual property

CoHome, including brand, layout, code, design, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant ownership of the App except the limited use license described here.

10. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the App available and stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with notice when reasonably possible. These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, unless additional consent is required by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CoHome is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses from use or inability to use the App, except where law does not allow such limitation. You are responsible for backups, decisions based on App information, and appropriate use of sensitive features such as health, finances, and location.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account through available features or contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, legal requirements, or service security risks.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Consumer forum rules apply where mandatory under applicable consumer protection law.
